Privacy policy
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking. We only handle personal data when you get in touch, book a call or become a client.
Who we are
Clypr LTD (“Clypr”, “we”) is a company in Cyprus that runs this website and the clipping service it describes. We are the controller of the personal data described here. For any privacy question, contact us through the contact options on our home page.
Visiting this website
The site has no cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or forms. Fonts and images are served from our own domain. Our hosting provider, Netlify, processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type in server logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
When you contact us or book a call
We keep what you choose to send us:
- your name and contact details (email, phone or social media handle)
- your messages and the call notes
- episode files or links you share so we can make sample clips
Calls are booked through a scheduling service and WhatsApp messages go through WhatsApp. Both process your data under their own privacy policies.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To answer you, prepare a proposal and make sample clips: steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To deliver the service to clients: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep the accounting and company records the law requires (Article 6(1)(c)).
- To run and secure this website: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
Episodes and clips you share are used only to do the work you asked for. We post them only to the accounts you approve.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run the business, such as hosting, email, scheduling and file storage, acting on our instructions. We never sell personal data. Where a provider is outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
If an enquiry doesn't lead to working together, we delete it within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as Cypriot tax and company law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to restrict or object to how we use it. Contact us through the contact options on our home page and we'll reply within one month. You can also complain to the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
